The government is allowing you to choose how the 2% of your paid income tax will be used. We all pay an income tax which the government uses to create the budget, distributing funds by priority and need. Now you can participate in the government’s budget planning process and delegate that specific 2% of income tax to a cause that really needs it.
Take the 2% income tax and ensure the rights for our children:
- to pay for the education of those who were born to poverty;
- To allow children abandoned due to family hardship or loopholes of the law to return to normal society;
- To grant a safe environment to the victims of coercion, abuse and neglect;
- To grant possibility for education and cultural development to those in the country’s remote locations;
- To develop living self-reliance skills to those without parents to teach them.
Exercise your rights and dedicate that 2% income tax to VO “Gelbekit Vaikus”:
1. You need to fill out the request form FR0512.doc, putting your full name, personal identification number, your place of residence, telephone number, and email address. Also fill out the date of application and sign on the bottom with your full name (FR0512_rules).
You can also fill out the application by downloading and filling out ABBYYeFormFiller2.5 via the email declaration system program ABBYY eFormFiller 2.5.
2. Give your application in person or by an authorized individual to the area tax inspectorate by May 1, 2010. If you are required as a Lithuanian Republic Resident you are obligated to declare your income, you should file your annual income tax declaration together with your application.
